Our library originated in 1820 and has been here in Mechanics' Hall since the building was completed in 1857.
The current collection is comprised of about 20,000 books of all types. We have current and classic materials and a book budget to add books of current interest or request from the members. We are a membership library, open to all for the annual fee of $50. per year. Stop in for more info. 10-3 Tues & Thurs; 10-6 Wed; 10-1 Sat.
