About Me

I write speculative fiction in the wilderness of southern Vermont where I live with my husband and a clowder of ghost cats. I used to blog spasmodically at mfennwrites.wordpress.com but have lost access to that account. Hoping to move the whole site to Dreamwidth at some point. I have been pretty active on the Fediverse for the last few years, though. I'm @mfennvt@vermont.masto.host over there.

I love to read. Anything goes, although I'm most fond of science fiction, fantasy, horror, children's books, biography, history, feminism, and the labor movement (well, and politics and queer rights and music--the list kinda goes on). Oh, and there's that pop culture thing.
