Fiction: Clive Cussler and Michael Connelly mainly but have to admit to reading Jeffrey Archer.Mostly I read non-fiction, currently "Yo, Blair" by geoffrey Wheatcroft and "Fantasy Island" by Larry Elliott and Dan Atkinson. Also just finished a book on UK parliamentary scandals by Matthew Parris.

Trained long ago as a civil engineer, I have worked as a site engineer on bridges and tunnels; in the timber industry for a trade association and as the founder of a company making specialist furniture. So now I write books on crime, the law, freedom, the folly of social engineering, the lack of jobs for young people..
