I have an extensive collection on my two favorite subjects - Ireland, and the American Civil War(specifically the Irish contribution to it). I have done lots of research on Thomas Francis Meagher, the commander of the Irish Brigade of the Army of the Potomac.

I am an author, librarian, and book reviewer. I am on the Kansas Reading Circle, which means I get copies of most newly published Young Adult literature, so that is what I'm reading lately.
