- About My Library
- Ever-growing, evolving, and consumed regularly. I'm not happy without a book or story in-hand or nearby, and I'm a consistent re-reader. As a result, it is a rare thing for me to give a book away, or let one go. I recently found a copy of "The Dingle Ridge Fox and Other Stories", which I've owned since 1978 or so. If I can get it cleaned up (it's a bit musty - any suggestions?), I'll add it to my shelf, beside my 1980 print of Watership Down. The oldest book in my library is from 1906, titled "Italian Days and Ways" by Anne Hollingsworth Wharton. Many of the pages aren't properly cut, enough to make it unreadable, in fact, but I like knowing I have a book that's over 100 years old in my collection. :)
- About Me
- I'm an American living in Italy with my Italian husband, teaching English for a local language school, and I'm still struggling to learn Italian after four years here. In the meantime, I try to write my own stories (and continue to dream of publication) and read my books - or perhaps eating them is a more accurate description?
