The Ernestine Rice Library consists of a wide variety of young readers' books. Anywhere from Winnie the Pooh, to Astronomy, you can find a wide variety of both Fiction and Nonfiction, Poetry and Biography, Newbery and Caldecott Award winners, beginners or advanced literature to grab the students' attention in the classroom. Our library also features a plethora of Teacher's Educational booklets. Whatever your teaching endorsement might include, we probably have just the book to help you through your studies and delve into exactly what your teaching future might encompass. Simply stop by our Office in the Rice Building, anywhere from 8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday and scan our shelves to see if we might have what you're looking for.

The Ernestine Rice Memorial Children's Library is in dedication to Mrs. Ernestine Rice, a most beloved Professor, Colleague and friend to Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.
