About My Library

Books I've been reading since 2008, with some going back to 2001. At some point I decided that these reviews would be a kind of diary for me, that I would associate parts of my life with particular books, and it has worked, a little, it's interesting to scroll back and think about what I was doing when I was reading this book or that. I tend to give five star reviews because I simply cannot work out how to gauge between one and five. If I like a book enough to finish it, five stars! Any criticisms will be in the review. I mostly read audiobooks these days for complex mental health and neurodiversity reasons (or maybe not that complex, I dunno). Lots and lots of audiobooks means I'm thrumming with anxiety and blocking out the world! A good and bad thing at the same time! I reread a lot of stuff, for comfort, I suppose, but also because. think they're damn good books.
