I was a Hard Cover snob. I started out with mostly Hard Covers ... but then I realized that most of my favorite authors also released new books in paperback ... so I had to adjust. Now I have more paperbacks than Hard Covers ... and I'm reading so many more authors than when I first started.

I love books. I'm addicted to books. I can't pass a bookstore without going in and wandering around. Even if I don't have a particular book to purchase, I always walk out with an armfull.

I read a lot as a child ... but then through my teen years I was too interested in partying to pick up a book. After I got married in 1980, and had my evenings to myself (as my DH worked at night) I started reading again. The last book I read was in 1982. It was a Danielle Steel book STAR. I finished it the day before my daughter was born.

I didn't read another book until the Fall of 1993. I picked up a book to read while sitting on the gym bench while the kids ran up and down the court at basket ball practice. The book was a legal thriller by a new author - THE FIRM by JOHN GRISHAM. ;)
