- want to read (1), Sci Fi (1), Romance (1), SCi FI (1), Her writing style really grabbed me; it seemed to come from a profoundly different mental landscape from western lit. I thought it might have something to do with thinking or writing in Hebrew (1), and associated it with the J passages in the Bible (1), not in it's humour (1), but in its lack of affect (1), if that is the correct label for it. I would like to read more of her stuff (1), but haven't come across it. (1), This book and the two others in this trilogy are very good reads. (1), Got hooked on the fabulous history of the silk road (1), the Mongol empire. The range of ghosts and its sequels were very satisfying. (1)
