I love reading all books no matter the genre. A good book is a good read. Never can judge a book by it's cover.

Raised an only child. I have three adult children of my own and five grandchildren all that I just love and adore. My mission in life is to enjoy it while I can. I like to be able to help others when possible. I think I am a softy at heart, can sometimes be stubborn. I am a go getter and I like getting things done, not waiting on anyone to do it for me. I wrote my first book last year, my memoir titled Slightly Bruised and a Little Broken. It wasn't the best book or the best writing, but I wrote it and I am proud. It was a heavy burden lifted getting my past out and on paper. I opened up as much as the publishing company would allow to be printed and I shared my hurts, pains, rape, domestic violence, abuse trials and tribulations. After all that I have been through, I weathered the storm and still came out on top. I was determined to move forward and not let anyone lower my self esteem or hold me back. I had to live not only for myself but my children. Some of us don't manage to get out of abusive situations and that really a tough subject and sad that someone could take another life. I waited too long to get out of my situation and no one could make me leave until I was ready. We have to learn early on when it's enough and don't be afraid to speak out and tell someone. Get help as soon as possible. Abuse is very much present today but still silent. I am in a much better place today than I have ever been. I thank God for giving me the strength to keep moving forward. Stay safe and be Blessed everyone everywhere.
