- About My Library
The library at Pequea Baptist Church is a faith-focused resource center offering literature often unavailable in public libraries. Our collection features works from leading Christian publishers and authors, including Bible commentaries, ministry training tools, inspiring fiction, and faith-centered children’s stories. Our collection has been carefully selected to encourage growth in one’s personal walk with God.
Through our digital catalog on TinyCat, users can browse titles in our collection anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re seeking solid theology, uplifting fiction, or resources for family and ministry, our library is here to equip and inspire you.
We are organized into three main sections:
1. Children’s & Young Adult Section A diverse collection of stories designed to encourage early readers, spark curiosity, and nurture young hearts and minds.
2. Adult Section Resources to equip believers for life, ministry, and study:
- Theological tools: commentaries, guidebooks, Bible versions, and how-to studies
- Ministry resources: training for Christian leaders and educators
- Personal growth: encouragement for a daily walk with God
- Inspirational works: C.S. Lewis, Charles Swindoll, Francis Schaeffer, and more
- Family-focused books: guidance for home and relationships
- Bibliographies: to inspire, guide, and deepen study
- Science & culture: examined from a Christian worldview
- History: accounts from around the world
3. Fiction Collection A third of our library—over 1,000 titles—consists of faith-oriented fiction, including contemporary, historical, romance, and mystery thrillers.
