I developed an interest in book collecting through years of surviving abuse and realizing I had a talent for communication and comprehension. I hated English in school for the focus on grades, but I slowly became I aware of my abilities. I have numerous regrets and flashbacks about lost oppurtunities. I want to organize myself and discard my regrets. My books are my greatest treasures and I view them as a form of reminder as to who I really am. My interest in literature helps me overcome the past.
