In her library, Phyllis has two special sections. One contains copies the 87 books she has authored. Another section contains books of poetry that are especially popular with school children that she often used when she was a teacher.

Phyllis J. Perry is a long-time resident of Boulder, Colorado who worked as a teacher, curriculum specialist, Director of Talented & Gifted Education, and as an elementary school principal in the Boulder Valley Schools. She took early retirement to write full time for children and and adults.

Phyllis is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrations and of the Colorado Authors' League.
