The catalogue is complete, so you can check before you visit - or check before you buy your own, it might save you money!

You can use the 'tags' to locate the books in the library. For example - 550 EDS 1.2, Reference only - would have the spine marking 550 EDW 1.2, and is a book not to be taken out of the library. The '550' is the subject (so all books on that subject are gathered together) the 'EDW' is the first three letters of the author or editor like EDWards, and the '1.2' shows it is the first title on the shelf by the author (1) and the second copy (.2).

This Library is for staff. You can take out as many books at a time as you like, but you can't take out the reference books, and you have to return them within a month. Usually, there are not many books out at a time, but now this catalogue is online that may change!
