The Reading Rainbow Library at La Mariposa is a collection of books written by authors of Color with the exception of some books written by white authors strictly to address white supremacy.

Our Mission is to provide a space where people of color can celebrate, heal, resist, and build towards our collective liberation.

We uplift projects that encourage freedom of self expression, address the legacies of white supremacy and settler colonization, and work towards the liberation and self-determination of people of the global majority. We understand that art comes in many forms and allowing the space to express them is powerful in and of itself.
