About My Library: The LGBT Resource Library at The Family Tree provides information and recreational reading materials on matters pertaining to LGBT people. The library is available to our members, visitors and the larger community.

The Family Tree library collection exists entirely from donations. The collection is maintained by volunteers.
About Me: The Family Tree is a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community center in Tallahassee, Florida. The mission of The Family Tree is to provide services that promote the well being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons, and to provide a place where everyone is welcome.

This will be accomplished in part by providing a safe place for LGBT community life, providing services that promote well being, building bridges to other communities and groups, and advocating for LGBT issues and rights.
