- About Me
- As a teacher librarian in a Melbourne boy’s secondary school I have a unique role, with a cross-curriculum view as well as working with teachers in specific subject areas. The Web world allows me to access so much information that can be useful for my own professional development as well as giving me tools and ideas to for student learning and teacher education.
I work with teachers and students, sharing new ideas, tools, educational theories, etc. or creating tools they can use. I like to encourage different alternatives for the students to respond to their reading.
I support student reading by reading all sorts of literature and especially trying to read YA and children's literature and sharing my reading as widely as I can. I also try to act as a guide for staff to assist them with books for their students as well as making suggestions for their own personal reading. - Homepage
