I am a writer in many genres: poetry, literary criticism, biography, bibliography, translation ... I've published 28 books,over 150 articles, and more than 400 poems in the U.S. and abroad. I belong to PEN American Center, Poetry Society of America and have listings in biographical & literary volumes.
I'm an Academician of the Academia Norteamericana de la Lengua Española, Corresponding Member of the Real Academia Española, electee of the Enxebre Orde da Vieira, and Knight Commander of the Orden de Isabel la Católica, knighted by King Juan Carlos I of Spain.
