- The Sydney Taylor Book Award of the Association of Jewish Libraries recognizes the best in Judaic children's literature each year. Gold medals are awarded in the Younger Reader, Older Reader, and Teen Reader categories for outstanding books that authentically portray the Jewish experience. Silver seals are awarded to Honor Books in each category, and Notable Books are also named.
