I have walked in many shoes over the years, and they have taken me to many places. Each and every one has been interesting in some way or another. Every place has its stories to tell. And everywhere I go, I accumulate more books to take home to my library.

My interests are wide-ranging, and while I enjoy a good novel now and then, I tend to prefer non-fiction. For nearly forty years, I've read at least one book a week, finishing off an average of 120 a year. I definitely accumulate them faster than I read them.

Outside of collecting books and reading, I enjoy traveling frequently (spending up to six months a year on the road), kayaking, hiking, bouldering, visiting craft breweries, cooking, and playing cards with friends.
