- Eclectic mix with particular interests in modern fiction (particularly Irish literature) and history. It is only going through the site's cataloguing process that I have come to accept that I have read an awful lot of mediocre stuff.
I aim to cut down on the crap and concentrate on books that will enlighten/entertain and make a difference.Your help and comments are always welcome. - About Me
Retired after a reasonably well paid but ultimately worthless career working in the world of finanacial systems.
Although I had a major book clearance of my library after retirement. I am once again running out of room, so now working on a book to the charity shop for every acquisition.
Apart from books my other big interests are travel, my garden, the countryside, visiting museums/exhibitions and rugby (union).- Location
