About meMiddle aged chap working from home doing IT stuff, that's one side of my office in the pic. My bookcases are 21' by 9'6" and I am still running out of room to the despair of the family.

Apart from books my other big interests are many types of music, my garden, the countryside, beer and rugby (union).

About my libraryEclectic mix with particular interests in modern fiction (particularly Irish literature) and history. It is only going through the site's cataloguing process that I have come to accept that I have read an awful lot of mediocre stuff.

I aim to cut down on the crap and concentrate on books that will enlighten/entertain and make a difference.Your help and comments are always welcome.
