A lover of lists, over 13 years ago, I started a list in an Excel document--at first from memory--of every book I've ever read. What I haven't included here are books I wouldn't have ordinarily read, but were required for high school and college. And those books that I wouldn't admit to reading (Bridges of Madison County, anyone?!)

- What would we do without books? I think I came out of the womb reading one.

Not surprisingly, I like books that capture the chaos, irony, hysterical moments, turmoil, and ultimately, the acceptance of my life's current status.
I've lived in the Seattle area for over 19 years having moved here from the Midwest, where I grew up. Don't really have a profession to speak of, as I'm figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. - Location
