The library of Simon Crosby is documented is the probate inventory of his estate, taken 15 September 1645(?). The books are valued to £1/10/6 out of a total estate value of £471/3.

Simon Crosby was born ~1609 in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, Yorkshire; he emigrated in 1635 on the Susan & Ellen, settling at Cambridge, Massachusetts. He died in September 1639.
