- History has always been a passion of mine, so I do love to read many historical fiction books, especially ones that revolve around an actual time or event in our history. I also love the classic authors and great poets.

- As a person who grew up learning to read at an early age, and who also had my nose stuck in a book 90 percent of the time, taking the time for myself to read has become more than just a distraction from life's struggles, it has become a necessity, something that I feel the need to do in my bones. That might sound melodramatic, but it is also the truth. I can't imagine what I would be missing if I couldn't read, to escape into any novel, which to me is an art form all by itself.
I find it interesting how this early love affair with reading has shaped my life, including setting my career path to get my Masters in Library Science and to work in the library and information field. It is amazing what a good book can do for a person:) - Location
