Books can be reserved online for local pickup or requested by mail (select collections may be excluded from shipping). Our goal is to remove barriers to reading by making books available to anyone who wants to learn.

Hi, I’m Issa Wade, the founder of Spectrum Books.

I’ve always believed that one of the best ways to understand people is to understand the ideas that shape them. That’s why I collect books without limiting myself to one genre or one way of thinking. My personal library spans psychology, medicine, religion, philosophy, science, history, politics, agriculture, education, fiction, manga, and countless other subjects because every book offers a chance to learn something new.

Spectrum Books was created from a simple idea: knowledge should be accessible to everyone. Whether you’re a college student searching for a textbook, a parent looking for children’s books, a lifelong learner exploring a new topic, or someone who simply enjoys getting lost in a good story, I want this library to be a place where curiosity is welcomed.

As someone passionate about education and community service, my goal is to remove barriers to learning by sharing the resources I’ve spent years collecting. Every book has the potential to inspire a new skill, a new perspective, or a new opportunity, and I believe those opportunities should be available to anyone willing to open a book.
