About My Library: My library is mainly martial arts and self-defense related. I have most of it catalogued here, however, there are a few strays here and there related to self-defense, e.g. body language, psychology, real crime, etc. that has not been added here. Also, I have more martial arts related books due to the free account limitations of LibraryThing, I've not added. Says 200 books max, not sure how I got to 290 though.
About Me: I'm but a beginner in the martial arts.... focus has been on real-world self-defense... my philosophy/mindset is Jeet Kune Do Concepts... my base system, if I can call it that, is the Filipino Martial Arts. Around 1999, I started archiving some useful martial arts info I've read from various forums to http://stickgrappler.tripod.com and I also have a site at http://www.stickgrappler.net ... although lately been busy with work and family, I haven't updated my site in some time. Main obstacle is trying to learn CSS/html to redesign the look of the site.

Although my focus is on real-world self-defense, I'm interested in all forms of martial arts... feel there is something to learn in each and every style/art/system. Although I may have a lot of books, ask me how many of the ones I've read that I remember? LOL @ me... I have a bad memory.
