- Sadly most of my books are in boxes... and even worse, I had to get rid of a number of those boxes after moving. I am in the process of transferring the majority of my reading material over to ebook format. I didn't really like it at first, but I am getting used to it and it looks as if that's the only way I'll be able to actually keep my books due to space limitations.

- I'm a lifelong lover of the written word - when it's done well. I prefer urban fantasy, above all other genres, although I cannot turn down a good thriller or mystery. My tastes are rather eclectic in all things, it would seem. I've had an arts review zine for 18 years and have decided to post my reviews alternatively, via goodreads, library thing, net galley, etc. I'm also getting into backpacking and travelling - hoping to see some of the world while I am able to. I'm from Canada's beautiful West Coast, moved to the prairies for a change and plan to return to the Coast at some point. A Mom of three wonderful grown children and a human mom for a number of fur kids. I am totally loving life. Bring it on! :)
