- Born very young, grew up (supposedly) in Japan and Latin America. After college flew for the Navy, worked for several great companies (including the Online Computer Library Center—OCLC), then started several successful and not-so-successful companies. My worst business failure was my best personal success thanks to a fabulous consultant who is now my fabulous wife. Wrote two business books along the way, and just finished the manuscript for a third.
