The small library of Thomas Walke of Princess Anne County, Virginia is documented in the probate inventory of his estate, taken 2 March 1703/4. It includes "Mr Isaac Ambrose his works, The Assembly of Devines Cat'chise Inlarged, The Assembly of Devines Cathecise it Selfe, An Impartiall Inquiry Into the nature of Sin by Tho: Peirce, Doctr Jeremy Taylors guide to devotion, William Goughs London Tryumphing, the young Clarks guide, The Lightning Colume by Petr Goose, one large bible, one old pockett bible."
Walke's library was published in the William & Mary Quarterly series "Libraries in Colonial Virginia" (July 1895, p. 15).
