Tom Williams has written seven books about his Napoleonic-era spy, James Burke, as well as the Williamson Papers, a trilogy set in the Age of Empire. When not writing historical fiction he dances tango and fantasises about vampires who dance it too (in his modern fantasy series, Galbraith & Pole).
