- The books catalogued here represent the majority of the volumes loaned to the exhibition. Visitors were invited to share books that spoke to them of Highlander's work, and especially to its continuation in the present.

- In the spring of 2020, the University Art Gallery of the University of the South hosted the exhibition "Highlander Libraries," a collaborative project led by artist Greg Pond recalling the library of Highlander Folk School as it existed in Summerfield, TN.
