About My Library: Children's literature and other books suitable for school libraries. One major purpose of this catalog is to collect books to support the PYP (Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organization (www.ibo.org) framework, including (but not limited to) tags for:

The IBO Learner Profile: INQUIRERS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, THINKERS, COMMUNICATORS, PRINCIPLES, OPEN-MINDED, CARING, RISK-TAKERS, BALANCED, and REFLECTIVE.

The PYP Concepts: FORM, FUNCTION, CAUSATION, CHANGE, CONNECTION, PERSPECTIVE, RESPONSIBILITY, and REFLECTION.

The PYP Attitudes: APPRECIATION, COMMITMENT, CONFIDENCE, COOPERATION, CREATIVITY, CURIOSITY, EMPATHY, ENTHUSIASM, INDEPEDENCE, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, and TOLERANCE.

NB: The review blurbs I write myself (as opposed to publishing blurbs or generic library catalog summaries, which I identify as such) reveal all -- because they are synopses meant to remind me about a book I've already read, NOT necessarily to entice someone else to read it.
