- After giving Stars to various books I'm remembering that because I won't read a book all the way through if I really don't like it, most or all of my books end up with 3-5 stars and it takes alot to get to 5.
My personal favorites are mysteries [historical, locked room, British, or anything with great character development and challenging intricacy] and Historical
Fiction [more historical than fiction if possible]. While I tended to focus on Medieval England, I've become more fascinated with other periods of history. I also find Biography and certain non-fiction worthwhile reading. - About Me
I am a retired lawyer [civil rights/discrimination law] and more recently a fine arts photographer. I have been fortunate and traveled to many countries and recorded images of life in each place. I want to share how people work and play or capture the abstract images or scenery of a place. Architecture, patterns, line and color, vistas and landscapes, fascinate me; I try to see and capture something beyond a typical picture of them. I am still in the early portion of what will be an increasingly professional development of my talents and artistic taste.
