Real Name
Warp and Weft Weavers Guild
About Me

The Warp and Weft Weavers Guild offers numerous educational and social opportunities that include monthly meetings where members show recent works that include discussions about the creation and possible improvement of each piece; annual or biannual workshops presented by experts from various specialty areas of handweaving; annual gallery shows displaying members’ works; and maintaining a lending library of books, periodicals, and videos across a wide spectrum of handweaving information.

Our meetings and programs encourage the development in members of artistic and technical handweaving skills and provide artist/weavers opportunities to explore the historical development of handweaving as well as the many forms and techniques of handweaving employed throughout the world.

The Guild also serves the community by promoting public knowledge and appreciation of handweaving as both a craft and an art and offers opportunities for the general public to view the work of member handweavers and actual loom weaving at local and area events, as well as in members’ gallery shows.
