- The Wallenberg Library and Archives has 12 hours of open reading room time a week. Researchers and casual readers are welcome to come in, use materials and enjoy the space during these times.
Hours:
Wednesday: 4 to 8 pm
Friday: noon to 4 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 2 pm
Researchers may request an appointment outside of regular Reading Room hours; volunteers and staff will do their best to accommodate these requests. Museum admission is required to use the Library and Archives; admission is free for ASI Members. - The Wallenberg Library and Archives at the American Swedish Institute is a welcoming place for visitors to look at materials in Swedish and English on immigration, traditions, history, literature, music and more. Items include books, photographs, manuscript collections, audio recordings, and more. The collection is non-circulating. Volunteers and staff are on hand to assist researchers with the catalog and finding aids.
