The books owned by planter William Neale (~1710-1763) of Charles County, Maryland are documented in the probate inventory of his estate, taken 29 April 1763 and recorded 28 November 1763. Two titles are listed specifically, along with "11 old Books" and "Sundry old [Books]." Together, the books are valued at £1/17/6, out of a total estate valued at £1450/3/6 and 3/4 pence.
