About My Library: YWAM (Youth with a Mission),Tyler (TX) is a missionary training and sending base. The goal of the YWAM Tyler Library and Archives is to preserve the rich history of the organization as well as serve our local community. We are building a small collection of Christian books of interest to our students as staff in addition to those relevant to our history. We are also custodians of the Winkie Pratney collection, and are in the process of receiving the Gordon Olson Collection.
About Me: I am the librarian/Archivist for YWAM Tyler. I have a Masters degree in Library Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and have experience in public, academic and historical libraries. My husband and I joined Youth with a Mission in our retirement years. I also work with our training schools.
