When I was in high school and worked in the school library, we entered the purchase date and cost on the inside cover for our library books. This was something that I carried on with my own books. They each have an old fashioned envelope with a check out card - no more non returned books now! I am slowly adding all of my books to LT including their dates of purchase and prices for insurance purposes.

I am a registered nurse with a masters degree in nursing education. Currently I teach OB to senior baccalaureate students for a private college. In addition, I have my own private practice of home infusion services. From the time I was a small child I have always wanted to be a nurse! I am a born-again Christian and attend an independent, fundamental Baptist church. My hobbies are genealogy, quilting, card making, reading, and baking. I love to read and collect cookbooks. Books that I enjoy reading are Christian fiction, mysteries, biographies, and of course nursing history.
