- I've been an obsessive reader (and dilettante collector) since about age four. In general, the only reason I ever disposed of any book was some major life change, usually involving relocation. Just about everything has interested me at one time or another, so you'll find all sorts here: history, sociology, romance, political commentary, SF/fantasy, pop psychology, horror, even some business and management stuff....

- I'm a native Californian who deliberately chose to live in the Deep South. Married, mom to two fluffy Pomeranians, plus the best aunt ever to several nieces and nephews. Bereaved mom to the two persnickety old cats who shared my life for the last twenty years.
Other pertinent stuff: Methodist; soprano; liberal; actress (regional theatre); ex-smoker; wannabe gardener; introvert; yarn hoarder; knit and crochet fiend; This Old House fan and History Channel junkie. And let's not discuss that serious addiction to Stanley Kubrick films, Doctor Who or Stargate SG-1.
