My local library is in Elgin, Il along the Fox River. It is a very large building housing the most books I have ever seen in any local library and across the way is a walk along the river area that has benches and fishing is also allowed. It is a very picturesque and peaceful area.

Retired and bored, recently moved back to IL from TX. My hobbies are knitting, crocheting and reading. I utilize the local library weekly searching through the new book first where I usually find something interesting,.
