My library is divided into collections based primarily on my own interests, the core topics that draw me to reading and books. Books can and often do fall into multiple categories and change categories over time.

Curiosity about the world: primarily nonficiton books that feed my curiosity about things. Includes topics as diverse as science, psychology, animals, current events, ecology, and a whole range of topics.

Art Collector: art books, art histories, photography books, books on art theory and color theory, how to books about producing art, and books about collecting and preserving collections

Eating It Up: cookbooks, food history, books about the connection between the environment and the food supply, agriculture, food humor and food reviews

Great Esacpes: Primarly fiction works that are great escape reading, from all genres, time periods and cultures

Hearth and Home: homekeeping, home plans, decorating, gardening, and any how-to or narrative that deals with domesticity

Journals and Other Life Writings: biography, autobiography, letters, journals, diaries, memoirs, published papers, lectures

Poetry and the Muse: classical literature, poetry, technical books about poetry and classical language and mythology

Pulitzer Prize for Fiction: winners of the prize

Spiritual Awakening: includes traditional religious writings, plus New Age, mysticism,general inspirational, and some self help

Books about Writing: ho to books about writing, books on the craft of writing, books about writers, books on language topics (grammar, usage, spelling, style, etc)

Wishlist: Books i wish to read and/or own

To read: Books that I own or currently have a physical or electronic copy of and intend to read
