Dr. Chris Cavert is an internationally known speaker, trainer and author in the area of Adventure-Based Experiential Activity programming. Currently he is an assistant professor in the Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Adventure Department at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. As an educator Chris focuses on how to use adventure education to develop pro-social community building skills within groups of all ages. Chris’ educational doctorate is in the area of curriculum and instruction with a focus on adventure education. He also holds a Masters degree in Experiential Education and is the author and developer of more than a dozen adventure-based education publications and products.
