- About My Library
- Our library is strong in philosophy, especially the ancient Greeks, and English literature, as befits our courses of study in college. We also enjoy reading history and science. We have a large collection of violin, viola and string chamber music. Currently, we are actively developing our collection in the areas of classical Latin, art history and music. We have dedicated a room in our small house to books and music, although they do have a way of finding a place in nearly every room anyway. We were fortunate enough to purchase old bookcases from a public library when they moved to new digs and love that we have the real thing now.
- About Me
- I've been a reader all my life and have been collecting books since my college days. My degree is in English literature but I have since found a second passion in history, especially medieval and Renaissance history. A number of years spent working in libraries and archives have given me an appreciation and passion for cataloging books.
In real life I'm currently a professional musician, playing violin and viola in orchestras, quartets and other groups and teaching privately and in the schools.
I also enjoy cycling and the semi-urban farm life with a garden and flock of chickens. - Location
