Library Progress: Trying to make my way through archiving my collection with the aid of the LibraryThing app and my book embosser. I've not gotten very far.
The Physical Books Themselves: My library is mostly used books I get from Thriftbooks.com, but on occasion I'll splurge for a hardcover especially if it's an old favorite. I almost never buy books if I'm reading them for the first time; instead I use my local public library. Then, if the book is good, I'll buy it later.
Latest Library Adventure: Collecting different editions and translations of War and Peace. I've got Maude/Mandelker (Oxford, 2011), Edmonds (Greenwich House Classics, 1988), Pevear/Volokhonskaya (Random House, 2007), and I'm looking to get ahold of Briggs (Penguin, 2005) and some fancy editions of Maude and Edmonds.
What I Enjoy Reading: A question I find difficult to answer. Stories set around the time of the Napoleonic Wars seem to keep cropping up, as do urban fantasy adventures. When travelling I'll read whatever I can get.
