I just read a nice little story called 'The Great Diamond' by Denis Guillemin, and because I could not access a place to review it on here, I decided to use my profile. It centres around a young boy named MaksymillIan, who decides one day to go for a ride on his much loved bike to the nearby woods. As he is riding along, his bike hits a bump, and he lands on a soft patch of leaves. Sitting there, he suddenly hears voices coming from the leaves, and pulls them away, revealing a huge hole. And that's when his adventure begins.
For me this book was such a huge delight to read, and I couldn't wait to see what Maksymillian would discover next, after finding the hole. I gave this book 3 stars. So thank you Denis for allowing me to read this lovely children's book.
