- I prefer literary genre novels, fiction that has a strong plot and is extremely well-written.
- About Me
- Lawrence "Doc" Pruyne is a writer living on a duck farm in western Massachusetts. He has two novels scheduled to appear this year, through Mountain Springs House, and two more next year.
Doc has a PhD in English and has been writing fiction since he was 11. "Persimmon", his first novel to see print, was 25 years in the writing, though it's now grown into a trilogy of novels.
Doc's written prize-winning essays and journalism, and his screenplays have placed in many competitions. He has over 800 short pieces in print, including the only fiction ever published in the 103-year history of Massachusetts Banker Magazine. - Location
