- About My Library
- My library is a jumble of books that I haven't been able to recycle for one reason or another. Frequently I will take my books to a resale shop so that I can afford more. Alas, I have lost many wonderful books to the resale shop but my collection would become impossibly large otherwise.
Most of the books in my collection are books that I probably wont be able to part with. I love them too much and will read them over and over again, hence their entrance into my permanent collection. I have been trying to replace all my paper backs with hardcover books but this is a slow process as many are either out of print and crazily expensive.
My library has fiction, non fiction, children's books, fantasy...etc. Although I tend to lean more toward fiction, I will read just about anything so my collection is diverse. - About Me
- Hello from Canada!
My name is Erin and I am a librarian! Now that I have set-up my introduction in true superhero fashion, on with the show!
During one of my library school classes, while I was actually paying close attention, a professor began discussing Library Thing. My interest was piqued. I decided that this would be a fabulous way to share my collection of books and get some excellent advice from others. So far I am loving it! Library Thing allows me express the cataloguing geek within.
I hope you enjoy my book collection (although it is still in progress)and if you have any suggests, please pass them on. I have a list that I keep with all the millions of books that people have begged me to read. I would love to add more! - Also On
