At present (4-6-2013), we have 1273 books. I can't help feeling proud that we have such a large and lively collection. In accordance with UU principles, there are books on a wide variety of topics, some of which are quite controversial, it is not your "typical" church library at all.

Unitarian Universalism includes many approaches to spirituality including, liberal Christian, Atheistic, Buddhist, Pagan, Agnosticism, Judaism, and many more. The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin (Texas)has a wonderful library and I hope you will come by and look through our collection.

Our main collection is in the office of our Senior Minister, Meg Barnhouse. Our children, youth, and parenting collections are in the office of our Religious Education Coordinator, Kelly Stokes.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help organize and maintain our libraries. Please reach out if you're interested.

We do not currently have a system for borrowing books, but hope to in the near future.
