- I am a systems engineer for a large defense contractor - for a while longer anyway. I plan to retire early next year.
In a previous life, I spent 20 years in the Navy, working as a deep sea diver. I spent most of my Navy time in Southeast Asia: the Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Singapore, and just about every other seamy port in that part of the world.
I never lost my excitement for building hardware and software systems. I plan to continue this full time for pleasure when I retire. - Location
