About My Library
Small community library is part of a social services agency that began in 1923 and housed in a building that was once Richmond's first free lending library, built by philanthropist Grace Arents, neice of cigarette packaging magnate Lewis Ginter, in 1908. We serve the Oregon Hill, Randolph and surrounding neighborhoods.
About Me
I am manager of library programs and our outdoor nutrition education programs - farmers market, community garden and small production farm. I love libraries and bookstores and the opportunity for the library to be the center of a web of learning and growth and pleasure of self- and community-realization.
